About Inkberry Marketing
We’re business leaders.
We just happen to work in marketing.
Inkberry Marketing was founded in 2016 on a simple premise: the companies that struggle to grow aren't usually lacking good products. They're lacking the strategic clarity to take those products to market effectively, and the leadership to execute on it.
For B2B tech companies, that gap is especially common. You've built something real. Your team knows it inside and out. But translating what you've built into what the market needs, positioning it against the competition, aligning your commercial strategy, and driving consistent execution, that requires a different kind of thinking. It requires someone who can see the whole picture.
That's what Inkberry does.
Strategic marketing, done well, is a two-way translation. It brings the outside in: understanding what the market needs, where the opportunities are, and what will actually resonate with buyers, and connects that intelligence to company strategy, product decisions, and commercial execution. It also works the other way: taking what a company has built and translating it into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approaches that land with the right audience.
Inkberry operates across that full span, from reading the market to shaping the strategy to driving execution. That's what separates strategic marketing leadership from tactical marketing support.
What Makes Us Different
Lisa Robey
Founder & President
Lisa brings over 20 years of experience running P&Ls, launching products, developing go-to-market strategies, and leading marketing and product teams at companies ranging from early-stage startups to $100M business units.
Before founding Inkberry, Lisa held senior roles at TESSCO Technologies, where she was responsible for the P&L of multiple business units, drove year-over-year profit growth for four consecutive years, and built an entirely new solutions-based business division focused on Smart Grid and IoT. She also served as SVP at Community of Science, a tech startup she helped grow to profitability and position for acquisition.
What makes Lisa's background distinct is the combination: product management, P&L accountability, commercial strategy, and marketing leadership — all in one practitioner. That breadth is what allows Inkberry to operate across the full strategic stack, not just one layer of it.
Lisa is Pragmatic Marketing certified and holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
